We are excited that you want to volunteer with the Weekend Food Program of Navarre.
Due to the increasing popularity of our events, and due to limited space and volunteer safety, we are now requiring advance sign up for ALL of our events. Click Here to register for bagging or delivery to a school.
Each participant 18 & older will be required to sign paperwork in order to participate. Anyone under age 18 is required to bring a parent or guardian with ID to sign the paperwork needed to participate. No children can be left unattended and we will no longer be admitting volunteers at the door. If someone who has reserved a spot cancels, we will work to ensure that spot has been filled. Priority will ALWAYS be given to Delivery Drivers bringing totes to schools on Friday mornings.
No pets will be allowed in the bagging areas. Volunteers who sign up, fail to show, and leave the program with lack of resources, will not be allowed to sign up indefinitely, The sign up program will give several opportunities to reschedule through notices and reminders of your commitment. Our children count on this programs commitment and this program then asks for commitment from this community. We ask that you please release your spot if you are not committed to holding it.
Weekly, we will be checking in volunteers to ensure we can log volunteer hours and to ensure all paperwork has been completed. Please arrive 15 minutes before the bagging event to ensure your paperwork is in order and that you have been checked in properly.
